Harry Reid, the Democrat U.S. Senate majority leader is the point man for an unprecedented spending binge that has led to a runaway national debt of $7.5 trillion at the end of October.  What did America get for all of this spending?  A 10% national unemployment rate!

Harry Reid is up for re-election next year, with an approval rating of only 35 %.  He is counting on all the special interest groups and lobbyists to buy his re-election, with a campaign war-chest totaling over $13 million to-date.

It is time to have a national referendum on Harry Reid now, by sending a financial donation to a true and proven conservative candidate running against Harry Reid.

Reid’s left-wing leadership in passing runaway federal government spending programs and starving free enterprise in the process is a prescription for long-term economic stagnation like that seen in Europe. It is time to bring fiscal certainty in a period of vast uncertainty in America.

Reid’s role as majority leader in passing the $787 billion stimulus and a $410 billion Omnibus spending bill and now a nearly $1 trillion health-care bill pending in the Senate has led to the greatest period of uncertainty that anyone can remember.  The net effect is an economic purgatory, with unemployment being projected to hit 11% by next year according to some economists.

Sharron Angle has a 3-point plan to begin restoring America’s economy and renew consumer and business confidence in America’ future:

1. Shut down and return all of the remaining TARP funds for national debt reduction.
2. Shut down the failed stimulus program and use all remaining funds to reduce the national debt.
3. Freeze the 2010 federal budget at the 2009 level, not including the $787 billion failed stimulus.
